Raghupur Fort is a historical tourist destination in the Tirthan Valley, believed to have been designed to defend itself from the invaders' attacks by the rulers of the Mandi dynasty. The fort is now largely in ruins, with some damaged walls still reminiscent of the glory of history. The best part is the view of the beautiful panoramic scenery surrounding the fort. To enter the fort, you need to walk for nearly 2 hours from Jalori Pass. Embellished by the stunning vivid coloured Rhododendron flowers and the thick oak trees, the road to the fort. Shringa Rishi Temple: The temple is dedicated to the valley 's governing god, Shringa Rishi or Rishyashringa, popularly identified in Hindu mythology. Departing from Chennai airport. Arrival at Aut, avoid the road going to Manali and just before the Tunnel there is another road which goes to Tirthan Valley (if coming from Delhi side). Our team will meet you there and transfer you to pre-booked Camp Home Stay in Tirthan which is approx 31 Km. from Aut. On reaching Tirthan, after check-in formalities we will go for a small hike to a waterfall. Afterwards return back for dinner and overnight stay at camphome-stay.
Wake up to this beautiful undisturbed valley for breakfast. After check-out you would be transferred to Jalori Pass (30 Km. Approx.) The trek starts from here to Serolsar Lake which is about 5 Km. The walk is comparatively easy. We will find a spot to have lunch, which will be more like a picnic and then continue with our trek. Upon reaching we will set camp over snacks and one is free to explore the beauty of Serolsar. Afterwards dinner will be served under the stars and over-night stay in camps.
Wake up to the clean air of Serolsar and the amazing views all around, breakfast will be served at the camp-site. After packing we will trek down to Jalori Pass.
