Dharmasthala

The town is known for its centuries old Dharmasthala Temple devoted to the Hindu god Manjunatha. There are other temples and shrines that are dedicated to Ammanavaru, Chandranath and the Dharma Daivas (guardian spirits of Dharma) — Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumaraswamy and Kanyakumari.

Interesting facts about Murudeshwar temple:

The statue has been built in a way that allows sunlight to fall directly on it, giving it the appearance of sparkling all the time. There is a Rameshwara Linga at the bottom of the hill where the devotees can perform rituals on their own without a priest.

Travel to Dharamashala

*Welcome to Karnataka. *Your trip begins today. *Upon arrival pick-up from Mangalore Railway / Airport and proceed to Dharmshala, check in to the Hotel, after fresh up and proceed to sightseeing. *Here we can visit Sri Manjunatheswara Temple, Bahubali Statue, Southadka Vinayaka Temple and Subramanya Sri Adia kukke Karthikeya Temple. *Overnight stay at Dharamashala Hotel.

Travel to Udupi & Mookambika

*After healthy morning breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Udupi Sri Krishna Temple, Bannanje 23ft Shani Temple and Maipe St Mary’s Island. *After lunch we proceed to Kollur. *Later return back on time to the hotel . *Overnight stay at the hotel in Mookambika.

Travel to Murdeshwar & Gokarana

*After breakfast check out from Hotel and proceed to Murdeshwar. *Visit Kundapur Sailgrama, Sri Gurnarasimha temple, Kota Amruthashwari temple, Kumbhashi Sri Vinayaka temple, Murdeshwar Shiva temple and Beach. *Overnight stay at Gokarana Hotel.
