On arrival Yangon

Greetings from Yangon, the largest city of timeless appeal in Myanmar. Meet your native guide today at the airport in Yangon, and we'll head to the hotel to check in. After a brief hotel rest, take a half-day sightseeing tour of Yangon. Take in the allure of Myanmar's culture by immersing yourself in China Town's fruit market. Savor the lively ambiance and the array of colorful tropical fruit vendors. After that, make the most of your city tour by going to the internationally renowned Shwedagon Pagoda, the most fascinating Buddhist building on Earth. Perched atop Singuttara Hill, this hallowed shrine has withstood two millennia of the city's turbulent and ever-evolving history.

Yangon City Tour

a whole day to spend discovering the intriguing Yangon. For those who wish to experience a distinct side of Asia that combines communities, cultures, and the natural world, this city is a must-see. Visit Kyauktawgyi Buddha Temple first thing in the morning to be in awe of the renowned Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image, which was crafted in 2000 EC from a fragment of white marble rock. Next, proceed to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, which is the location of a massive statue of a reclining Buddha. This is one of the most venerated Buddha pictures in Myanmar, measuring 66 meters in length. There are traditional symbols etched at the feet of the Buddha, and pilgrims frequently congregate here to pay their respects. After leaving the pagoda, descend to Karaweik Hall Royal, a magnificent golden floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake. Karaweik Hall is regarded as Yangon's most exquisite photo location. Here's your chance to store some amazing pictures. Next, take a drive to the heart of Yangon to see the 2500-year-old Sule temple, a significant Buddhist temple used for political and religious rituals and thought to contain a strand of the Buddha's hair. We take a picturesque boat ride to Thanlyin in the afternoon, which is a lovely, peaceful town southeast of Yangon. Situated on an island, the Kyaikkauk Pagoda and Kyaikmawwin (Yele) Pagoda are two striking pagodas. For a quick tour, we will first cross the Thanlyin Bridge to arrive at the Kyakikkauk Pagoda. The massive golden Kyakikkauk Pagoda is reminiscent of the Shwedagon Pagoda. After witnessing the locals going about their daily lives in the Kyauktan market, you will board a boat to visit the striking Kyaikmawwun (Yele) Pagoda, which is situated on an island and was constructed in the third century BC by King Zeyasana, the seventh king of the Bagan Dynasty. Later on, head back to Yangon and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo

Myanmar's Golden Rock on Mount Kyaikhtiyo is a wonderful place to go on pilgrimage. It is a massive rock that is spectacularly placed on a cliff's edge and covered with gold leaf. The amazing placement of the holy rock is attributed to the hair of a Buddha that was preserved inside the rock, preventing the boulder from collapsing. We head to Kyaikthiyo to begin our day earlier than normal. We take the open vehicle up the Golden Rock after arriving at Golden Rock Base Camp. To get to the summit, we'll do some easy trekking through a bamboo grove. You will be able to see a broad overview of the spectacular valley of granite from the summit of the mountain.

Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) – Bago – Yangon

Take a quick morning stroll to a tiny cave after breakfast, and make sure to stop at a few wayside stores to purchase unique jungle things. Savor the clean mountain air in the morning. After that, we take a car to the base camp and return to Yangon. We make a stop at Bago, an ancient town with many Buddhist sites, on the way back. Visit the bustling market to get a first sense of the local flavor. Next, we go to KanbawzaThardi Palace, a magnificent palace constructed by King Bayinnaung, a member of one of the most illustrious dynasties in Myanmar history. See the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, which is the highest pagoda in Myanmar at 114 meters (15 meters higher than the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon), after that Proceed to KalayaniSima (Ordination Hall) for a brief stay before proceeding to Shwethalyaung Pagoda to witness the most exquisite reclining Buddha in the world and the Wood Carving Industry.

Before your driver takes you to the airport for your departure flight, spend your final minutes shopping in Treasure, Gems, and Handicraft shops or Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) market, the largest market in Yangon.
