Drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake, after breakfast. The East African Rift Valley floor is home to Lake Naivasha. There is a lot of birdlife. All year long, cormorants use it as a breeding place. Pelicans and spoonbills may be visible sitting on the dead trees, and the fish eagle is most likely among them. This freshwater lake is home to the breeding populations of two fish species: tilapia and black bass. The many species of mouth breeders found in freshwater are referred to as "tilapia"; these fish are "mouth breeders." There are plenty of frogs of all sizes, from the massive bull frog to the tiny tree toad. Check out and return to Nairobi after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch at a posh Indian restaurant. Afternoon, continue with a half-day city tour of Nairobi, taking in the parliament, the site of the bombing, monuments, the Kenyatta International Conference Center, the museum, and a viewpoint, among other points of interest. In the evening, indulge in last-minute shopping at the renowned Nairobi City Market. A local eatery for dinner. Spend the night in Nairobi.
