With the train: Thenmala Railway Station serves as the closest railway station to enter Thenmala on the Kollam-Schencottah train line. The station does not have direct connexions to any of Kerala 's major train stations. Therefore, visitors can board the regular buses at the Quilon Junction or hire private transport options to reach Thenmala by road.
Via the air: The nearest airport to Thenmala by air is Trivandrum International Airport, 56 km away. This airport serves as the hub for direct and direct flights from many cities in India and abroad. However, when arriving at the airport, to reach Thenmala by road, visitors need to rent any of the road transport options.
