Natural Cascading Delight: The Killiyur Waterfalls are situated in the Servarayan Hill area of the Eastern Ghats, at a distance of 4 km from the Yercaud Bus Stand. The waterfalls are one of the most sought-after places to see in Yercaud, situated in the district of Salem, an ideal place to find yourself in the midst of nature.In the Kiliyur Gorge, the water from Killiyur Falls cascades from an altitude of 300 feet and produces a magnificent spectacle. In the Shevaroy hills, it is one of the oldest bungalows. British commanders used to frequent Yercaud and live in this bungalow and a few others situated nearby to beat the scorching heat of India. The Bungalow showcases all the lovely homestays that one can expect to stay nearby in Yercaud. And since the bungalow is now private property, permission to visit the bungalow is required, but the route taken to visit the bungalow is just awesome.
A Towering Peak, Shevaroy Hills : Shevaroy Hills, one of the top tourist places in Yercaud, is a towering mountain range that primarily lies in Yercaud 's Eastern Ghats. Some of Yercaud 's oldest hotels, homestays, and cottages are situated in the hills. With lush forest cover, a plateau, and several natural zones, the feel of the hill is a little fun. You can take in the charming views of the valley, the river bank, and the nearby Mettur Dam. For the lovely views you receive, consider visiting this place at sunset and sunrise. 10:00 AM- Reach Salem and get freshened up.
10:45 AM- Start for Yercaud.
12:00 PM- Reach the Campsite. Freshen up and a welcome drink will be served. Get ready for a tent pitching session. Explore the nearby regions & Relax.
1:30 PM- Lunch will be served. Go on a short hike to a Waterfalls (Seasonal).
4:30 PM- Return to the Campsite for sunset. Refresh & Tea/Coffee will be served.
7:00 PM- Set up Campfire, which will be followed by dinner. Get ready for some Music & dance.
Retire into your respective tents as and when you wish to.
05:30 AM- Wake up and witness the sunrise from the Sunrise point.
07:30 AM- Tea which will be followed by Breakfast. You can choose to laze around in the beautiful environs, take a walk around the camp spot, play table tennis.
08:30 AM- Get ready for the rope activities
12:30 AM- Return back to the campsite
1:00 AM- Have lunch and Check out.
