Vagamon is a modest ranch township with clouds of green in Central Travancore. Vagamon is arranged 1200 metres over the ocean level spot, covered by the greenery of tea gardens, fresh cool air, mumbling pine woods, tiny cascades, and seductive knolls, with a ceaseless line of lavish green hills, amazing gorges and winding rivulets. Reaching Vagamon is an unprecedented affair in itself. In a strong shake, fixed with pine trees, the wandering path to Vagamon is cut.
Pine Forest Vagamon: Anything For Nature Lovers : The Pine Forest is the first spot to hit in Vagamon, leaving out all the other tourist places in Vagamon if you are a forest lover. This sparse wood is a common shooting spot for filmmakers, originally a manmade one. The forest, built during the British Raj, still stands overlooking the lovely valley. And these are Vagamon 's twin biggest attractions, the Maramala Falls.
A Pristine And Unspoiled Spot: Marmala Waterfall : Marmala Waterfall is one of the best places to visit in Vagamon, situated along the Erattupetta course. Marmala is a 131 'waterfall settled in the centre of dense greenery, a spot as immaculate and untainted as Vagamon itself. The waterfall, slipping into what is authoritatively a private legacy, was a dark spot even for a few years. The Marmala Waterfall in Vagamon is quickly becoming a standout of the most visited travellers.
One of the top locations to visit in Vagamon is Marmala Waterfall, located along the Erattupetta road. The Thangal Para :- Among the most sacred places for Muslim travellers around this region, it is regarded as a standout. For the explorers and sightseers, a little prayer emphasis has been created. For explorers and holidaymakers, it is an extremely quiet location. Strolling over the slopes is particularly interesting.
Barren Hills: For Lush Green Meadows' Love :- While the name doesn't do much to draw the attention of tourists, one of the most tempting places to visit in Vagamon is the Desolate Hills of Vagamon. Unlike in each season, as the period of season rolls on, the hills transform from lush to bare. If you want to experience all four seasons in Kerala, this is the place to be.
Of the most popular places of interest in Vagamon, Kurisumala is a standout. For hiking here, traditional shoes are not recommended. Trekking shoes are a good alternative for you. It can normally take up to 45 minutes to achieve the difficult one, which is around 1.5 kilometres long. As there are a lot of rocks, the trek is not going to be an easy one. Since it is a pioneer, its followers come from various parts of the country to climb the slopes with wooden crosses.
