Another Indian cruise line ventures out to sea through Indian ports such as Chennai, Kochi, Mormugao, Mumbai and Vizag as well as foreign destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Colombo, Dubai, Muscat, Penang, and Singapore after Angriya, India's first domestic luxury cruise liner set sail in October. Jalesh Cruises' first vessel is a 2,000-passenger vessel that will make its maiden voyage from Mumbai to Goa on 17 April.

How are you going to spend your time onboard?

All the regular attractions you 'd expect from a cruise are on the ship:Bars around the ship at different places, including The Pool Bar, The Casino Bar and The Chairman's Club.A professionally equipped fitness centre, spa, and salon.Broadway entertainment rooms, Burlesque shows and film screenings.Meanwhile, the ship is packed with LEGO zones, an arts and crafts field, air hockey and activities such as karaoke and scavenger hunts to keep the children entertained.

Wait, what's up with the food? : You certainly don't go hungry on board. The ship boasts 14 dining choices, including an all Jain menu, to fit different culinary tastes. There's a wide range of food to choose from, from kulfi stations to fine Chinese food, a foreign grill station and a café. There's a dedicated restaurant called Jain Haven for Jains as well.

I have sailed on a range of premium cruise ships, but I have been eluded by the true luxury experience onboard Jalesh Cruises. All was great from my time at sea to my time at the port: the service, the food, onboard events, our cabin and so much more. Overall, my Jalesh Cruises sailing experience was excellent, and today I want to break it down and explain what the luxury cruise experience really is like and what sets Jalesh Cruises apart.

About our Jalesh Cruises cruise ship  

It can be noted that Jalesh Cruises is India's first Premium Luxury Cruise, which started operations in April 2019, meaning 'Lord of Water' for a high seas peak in life. At present, they sell onshore destinations and trips to Indian port cities such as Chennai, Kochi, Mormugoa, Mumbai, Vizag, among others, and international locations such as Abu Dhabi, Colombo, Dubai and Muscat. You'll be spoilt for options from their different itineraries to choose from.

The Cabin of Our : I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the cabin and how much storage space was available. We opted for a balcony-view cabin. The cabins have always been meticulously washed and well preserved. Our balcony was great, and for two people it is a good size. The best part was the sea view, of course! I was able to sit all day on the balcony and enjoy its elegance and tranquilly. Another advantage was that we could leave our balcony door open and in the space we could get fresh air. I'm not a fan of air conditioning, artificial heating and cooling, so it was nice to get this fresh air.

Nutrition : What distinguishes Jalesh Cruises from the other ships, and rightly so, is just like on any cruise ship with great food. Onboard the ship, there are several food stations, cafes , and restaurants. The ship has three fine dining restaurants at The Waterfront and Chef's Table, including Indian cuisine and oriental delicacies such as Thai, Malay, Korean, Mongolian, Taiwanese, Japanese and more served at Chopstix.

Jain passengers, who are pure vegetarians, have a dedicated website. With a full bar menu, there are nine bars on board. The choices are good and undoubtedly delicious. From Khaman Dhokla from the Gujarat coast to the fiery Mumbai Vadapav and Pav Bhaji, from Delhi Chaat to Kolkata Rolls, from Goan Omelette Pav to Chennai Idli & Dosa .... you can enjoy anything you want from Indian Street on the high seas. The ship hosts nine separate buffet stations and food stations in total.

Activities on board : There are plenty of entertainment events, so you won't miss the fun wherever you may be on the ship! Just because there is an operation almost every 15 minutes, it is just not possible to get bored on the boats. For various age brackets and interests, there is always something happening aboard. Broadway plays, Burlesque concerts, music and dance evenings, variety shows, film screenings and adventure activities are available to enjoy to the hilt, with a variety of on-board entertainment for both kids and adults.

The ship boasts an exotic spa to awaken your senses and refresh your soul for guests who want to relax in between. A sauna, a salon, a gym, and a steam room are given at Jalesh's spa. Additionally, the guests of Jalesh have the opportunity to dive into one of the three pools of the ship.

If you're looking for an adrenaline rush on the high seas, head to the Player's Casino on the ship's eighth deck for a fast, fun game. There's not a moment of boredom, from the most popular games like Blackjack, Poker, Casino War and Slot Machine Games to some fantastic table games. And if you favour fortune, who knows that you may end up wealthier than you were before you set sail!Such entertainment events have certainly made things more exciting! We all shared a laugh and a fun moment between late night comedy shows, family game shows, hot tubs, and musicals.

On board Doctor : None of us felt ill, though, so it was good to see that the ship had doctors and nurses licenced to assist you in any medical emergencies.

The Operation of Jalesh 

Hands down, client support was the highlight of the trip for us. The workers doing the cabins, the food areas, the room service and every single staff member were very welcoming and professional. We had heard of a world class service that turned out to be true. They work extremely hard, are polite and supportive, and we can't thank them enough. Kudos to you all, from the cabin staff to the food servers, the waitresses and waiters, the bar staff and others.

Ultimate Thoughts : I've sailed a variety of different cruises around the globe, from expeditionary ships to massive mega-ships, and even river cruises. So I can say that my trip with Jalesh Cruises was one of the best I've ever enjoyed, with a reasonable amount of experience. The idea just works and not once did I feel out of place or awkward. Also, somehow, the home away from away concept worked.

Vacation time is important, making every moment unforgettable. Jalesh Cruises takes you from bucket list-worthy locations to game-changing private resorts to more memorable shores. All is on the best cruise ship. I know this isn't going to be my last adventure with them, as I will soon be planning another Jalesh cruise. After all, not many would like to skip a trip where, when travelling, they can enjoy drinks in bars, delicious food in restaurants, dance at the club, dip into the swimming pool and get pampered at a luxury spa.

Cruising onboard Jalesh cruises is undoubtedly an unforgettable experience if you are looking for a particular form of vacation.The thrilling cruise trip to Goa starts at the port of Mumbai. Tourists will be able to board the ship from 11 am to 2 pm. You can go around the boat once you are on board and enjoy different activities while on the cruise, such as enjoying the view of set sail from the port of Mumbai sipping a drink at the Pool Deck, watching fun Broadway show features and enjoying dinner at any of the cruise restaurants. At the piano bar, try a round of entertainment, test your luck in the casino and visit the dance bars. Then spend your late evening at the disco where the all-time classics are played overnight by a DJ.
