The nearest railway station is KODAIKANAL ROAD (KQN). It is 80 km from the hill station and you can get lots of vehicles to go up the hill station. Beautiful and breathtaking views are the scenery between the ghat. There are buses available at Kodai road station to claim up to Kodaikanal. There are also cab services available. Many Chennai Egmore southbound trains pass through Kodai Road Station. Some of them stop there and some don't. The convenient train is the Pandian Express, which reaches around 5 am by night train. At 6 am and reaching 11 am, the other is Tejas Express leaves Chennai Egmore. Check-in and check-out at many hotels in Kodaikanal are at 12.00 noon.
