Chennamma Park Kittur Rani: This park is generally referred to as KC Park, which is possibly Dharwad 's biggest park. There is a monument within the park to John Thackrey, the British collector who was killed in a war between the army of Kittur Rani Chennamma and the British forces.
Sadanakere Lake and Park: Sadanakere Lake and Park is one of Dharwad's most famous locations. This place is surrounded by lush greenery and a lovely pool. It is a good place to appreciate nature's beauty. Facilities such as pedal boating and battery boating are available, which for kids is a major draw. A musical fountain on Saturdays and Sundays is the main attraction of this park. It is said that Dr. Dattatreya Ramachandra Bendre (D R Bendre), the great poet and winner of the Jnanapith Award, was influenced by Sadanakere's green environment and serene atmosphere. You can also visit his house and the nearby Bendre Bhavana Memorial.
To Bendre Bhavan: Bendre Bhavan is a memorial constructed in memory of Dr. Dattatreya Ramachandra Bendre (D R Bendre), a great Kannada poet and recipient of the Jnanapith Award. Bendre Bhavana's exhibits contain rare photos of the poet, portraits, quotes and excerpts from his poems, etc. An auditorium, a photo gallery, a library and a research centre are located here. Dr. Bendre 's home, Shree Matha, is located adjacent to Bendre Bhavan, which is also a place of remembrance for the great poet. Here, various memorabilia, such as dresses, mementos and the prestigious Jnanapith Award certificate, can be found associated with the poet.
Glasshouse at Indira Gandhi Memorial: The Memorial Glasshouse of Indira Gandhi is named after India's late Prime Minister, Smt. Gandhi Indira. The main building is designed as a glasshouse that normally holds indoor activities and exhibitions. There are beautifully laid gardens surrounding this building. Any other highlights of this place are the musical fountain demonstration, the toy train and the sculptures scattered around the garden.

Betta's Nrupatunga: Located on Unkal Hill, Nrupatunga Betta provides a stunning view of the entire city of Huaballi. In the lush and serene setting, the hill offers a panoramic view of the whole cityscape. On top of Nrupatunga Betta, a Devi temple is located.
Lake Unkal: In the city, Unkal Lake is a popular picnic spot. Spread over 200 acres, it is estimated that the lake is more than 100 years old. The National Council of Science Museums, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, has set up the Dharwad Regional Science Centre. India with the active backing of the state government. The Centre serves as an ideal place for young and old alike to participate in artistic activities and to disseminate scientific information among its tourists. Temple of Chandramouleshwara, Unkal: At Unkal, Chandramouleshwara Temple is an architectural monument to Chalukya and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated opposite Betta Nrupatunga and near Lake Unkal. And the temple looks very beautiful against its backdrop. The inclusion of two Shivalingas and two Nandi statues is a special feature of this temple. Another special feature is that a Chaturlinga (a linga with four faces carved on it) is one of the Shivalinga. The temple is designed in a rather symmetrical style and has four gates in four directions. The temple, in total, has twelve doors.

Math from Murugha: One of the most revered places for the Lingayats, Murugha Math was established by Sri Mrutyunjay Swamiji in 1917 with the blessings of his guru, Sri Athani Shivayogi Swamiji.
