Andhakaranazhi Beach : This beach attracts a number of tourists and is situated in a coastal village 4 km from Pattanakkad. As it helps guide the seamen at night, the tall lighthouse in white and red captures attention. Andhakaranazhi Beach is a location for the regular shooting of Malayalam movies, attracting more attention from the locals. While badly damaged by the Tsunami in 2004, a brand new bridge and an aerial walkway for a beautiful sea wall have been installed for the sea wall.


Athirapally Falls : Kerala's biggest waterfall and is also called the' Niagra of India.' The Athirapally Falls is a charming waterfall of frothy waters rising from the Western Ghats' Anamudi Mountains. The Athirapally gushes towards the Arabian Sea through the lush green forest of Vazhachal, making an exquisite panoramic spectacle. One can also visit the theme parks Dreamworld and Silver Storm on the way to Athirapally and plan to stay at the several resorts strategically located in the grid.

Cherai Beach : Thanks to its serenity and clean setting, this beautiful beach is conveniently nestled in the suburbs of Cherai, which is one of the most visited beaches. Areekkal Waterfalls : During the monsoons, a little waterfall is worth a visit as the fall is in its glory with white cascading water gushing from above.
