For nature lovers, Emerald Lake is the perfect spot in Ooty. Tourists typically flock there because of the lake's picturesque scenic beauty, and the nearby green Nilgiri slopes and tea plantations.

It follows a similar architectural theme and is one of the most beautiful spots to visit in Ooty. St. Stephen 's Church is one of the earliest churches you can find in the Nilgiris district, situated on the road to Mysore in Ooty, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The system dates back to the 19th century and was designed by the government of Britain. To coincide with the birthday of King George IV, the date of the beginning of construction was cleverly selected.
