• The group assembles at the pick-up point by 10:00 PM (tentative). The tentative pickup point is Kashmere Gate. • Meet the team captains and attend a small tour briefing. • Head out on an overnight journey to Shimla.
Arrive in Shimla early in the morning via the Hindustan-Tibet highway. • Change transportation from bus to Tempo Traveler and head out for Kalpa. • En route, explore Reckong Peo town and, if time permits, visit Kamru Fort. You may catch a glimpse of Kinner Kailash Peak. • In Kalpa, visit the 3000-year-old Kalpa Monastery and the Suicide Point. • Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Kalpa
• After breakfast, continue the journey towards Tabo, famous for Tabo Monastery (Ajanta of the North) and Meditation caves. • En route, make a pit stop at Khab, the site of the union between the Sutlej and Spiti rivers. • Dinner and overnight stay at Tabo.
- Post breakfast, head towards the headquarters of Spiti, Kaza. • En route, visit the thousand-year-old Tabo Monastery, followed by a visit to the Dhankar Monastery and the Dhankar Fort. • Reach Kaza before evening and check in to your accommodations. Travelers are free to explore the small town. • Dinner followed by an overnight stay at Kaza. o Note: During extreme winter months, common washrooms and one bucket of Hot Water will be provided due to the altitude and temperature.
- Post breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing. • Visit the Key Monastery (Key Gompa), followed by Chicham Bridge, which is Asia's highest bridge. • Visit the highest post office in the world, Hikkim. • Move towards Komic village, one of the highest villages in the world connected by a motorable road. • Visit the land of fossils, Langza, and see the Buddha statue overlooking the village. • Head back to Kaza for dinner and an overnight stay.
• After breakfast, start the return journey to Nako. • In Nako, visit the serene Nako Lake and pay reverence at the Nako Monastery. • Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Nako
• After breakfast, drive from Nako to Sangla / Chitkul. • Upon reaching Chitkul/Sangla, check into the hotels for group bonding exercises. • Note: Accommodation will be in Sangla if harsh weather prevents staying in Chitkul. • Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Chitkul/Sangla
• After breakfast, resume the return journey towards Shimla. • En route, make a photo stop at the iconic Rock Tunnel, known as the Gateway to Kinnaur. • Upon reaching Shimla, you will board an overnight bus towards Delhi.
• Reach Delhi early in the morning and the group will disperse with fond memories. • End of the Winter Spiti Road Trip
